Step 1: Arriving at Barcelona El Prat Airport (BCN)

Barcelona’s main airport, El Prat (BCN), is just 12–15 km from the city center. It’s modern, efficient, and divided into two terminals: T1 and T2. From there, getting into town is easy, whether you take public transport, a taxi, or our complimentary LiveFurther shuttle.

If you’re arriving independently, here are your main transport options:

But if you’re staying with us, the best option is always our free LiveFurther shuttle service, simply send us your flight details 72 hours before arrival, and we’ll handle everything.

Step 2: Getting to Your LiveFurther Flat

Our mid-term flats are spread across different Barcelona’s neighborhoods, all fully furnished and community-focused. Here’s a quick look at how to reach them from the airport:

If you’re heading to Sant Martí or Poblenou, you’ll find your flat at Carrer Sant Joan de Malta 45, around 25 minutes by shuttle. It’s ideal for remote workers and students who want a peaceful area close to the beach.

Those staying in Eixample (at Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 434, Rocafort 82, Aribau 151, or Muntaner 184) can expect a 25–30 minute ride. You’ll be in the heart of the city, surrounded by cafés, shops, and coworking spaces.

For students attending ESADE, IESE, or other universities, our Les Corts building at Travessera de les Corts 138 is perfect. It’s safe, quiet, and conveniently connected to the metro.

Love the sea? Our Barceloneta flats (Carrer de Sant Carles 16 and Carrer Carbonell 2) offer stunning coastal living just 30 minutes from the airport, ideal for anyone dreaming of beach mornings and tapas nights.

And if your new address is Travessera de Dalt 29, welcome to Gràcia, a charming, artistic neighborhood full of local life and creative energy.

Step 3: Your First 24 Hours in Barcelona

Once you’ve settled into your new flat, take a deep breath, the adventure begins now.
Here’s how to make your first day smooth and enjoyable:

Start by connecting to the Wi-Fi and updating your location. Then, unpack the essentials and grab a few groceries - your LiveFurther check-in manager will show you the nearest supermarket, and metro station during your welcome tour.
You’ll also review your rent contract and house rules (most of which you’ve already received via email or your tenant portal). If anything needs signing, we’ll go through it together in person.

And don’t forget to celebrate your arrival! Go for a short walk around your neighborhood, stop at a local tapas bar, or join your flatmates for your first meal in the city. Barcelona’s charm begins the moment you step outside.
